Automation Sales Manager

Remote anywhere in the UK

An opportunity to join our Commercial team, reporting direct to the Commercial Director, focusing on building a sales pipeline and managing deals through to successful closure.

About you

  • Professional and motivated sales professional capable of building a pipeline and managing it to successful closure.

  • High level of digital competency including a wide variety of sales and marketing tools and platforms.


Skills

Essential:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in either SaaS or other sales into the legal sector.

  • An organized, efficient individual capable of working in a high trust, fast-paced environment.

  • An experienced ‘hunter-closer’, with a track record of managing deals to completion.

  • High attention to detail, confident in producing customer-facing content.

  • A good networker with ‘soft’ marketing skills who is comfortable working in a customer facing role.

  • Willing to travel, nationally and internationally as required.

Preferable/to be developed:

  • Experience in selling to and access to an existing network in the legal sector.

  • Experience in selling a SaaS platform.

  • Experience in after sales customer support and success.

  • Business analysis / requirements gathering experience.

  • Knowledge of legal operations, processes and systems.

  • Group claims knowledge or experience.

Responsibilities, duties and characteristics

  • Work a sales pipeline of interested parties and manage deals through to successful closure.

  • Capture high level requirements and prepare initial proposals with the delivery team.

  • Handhold customers and the delivery team through the delivery process.

  • Ensure a smooth handover to the delivery team and post-sales support as required.

  • Manage existing accounts and capitalize on up-sale opportunities as they arise.

  • Listen to and learn from customers to continuously improve both the sales and marketing messaging and inform the product development pipeline.

  • Grow the ‘virtual’ presence of the company via LinkedIn, Twitter and other online activities.

  • Seek out speaking events, membership opportunities, awards and partnerships and work with the marketing team to prepare for and attend these events as the key customer face of the brand.

  • Support the company through the launch of new products and features.
